Happy October.
Wow. It's October. I can't believe how fast time has gone by! It feels like the last half of the year always goes by so quick, and I have been really busy. School has been super busy and this is the most credits I think I have ever taken in a semester. I feel like there is always something to be studying and doing, which is good but it can be a little exhausting. I am doing my ICU rotations right now and I LOVE the ICU. I am in leadership positions for 2 different groups. I am the president over the Respiratory Therapy Assocation Club and am apart of a program called Breathe-zy. The RTAC has been a little bit of a slow start because we are in the process of getting funding but the Breathe-zy program has been busy. We teach at elementary school kids about the role of a Respiratory Therapist, lung health, asthma education and we do lung dissections with the kids as well! I enjoy it a lot.
So, school is good. I am feeling pretty confident in my abilities as a Respiratory Therapist, so that is good. I think the biggest thing is that I am feeling like I need a break and I am so excited because after this next weekend I will not have a clinical until January 30th. I AM SO BEYOND READY for a break. I am excited to get some skiing in and hang with my hubby.
Jack is enjoying his new job. Due to COVID, he has been working a ton from home. It is really nice for him because he rolls out of bed to go to the next room. We have had a great October, full of hanging with our friends.
I have started on a Rag quilt for mom for Christmas. This has been super fun! And also, uncharted waters. Annette is helping me and it has been really enjoyable. I have loved to see the progress :)
We had a fun Halloween at the annual Miller party. It is always a fun time when we all get together. We played this game called Psychiatrist...and it went over very well because we played it for like 3 hours hahaha.
