2 YEARS HOME

2 years home, 1 year engaged

Time is just flying lately. I can't believe that I have been home from my mission 2 years. I am grateful for the opportunity I had to serve my mission in the Philippines. I have never met such an amazing group of people. I feel like my mission is more of a memory now but I am grateful that I have journals, blogs, and my experiences to help bring it past. I try not to be the person that brings up their mission all the time...but honestly not a day goes by that I don't think about it in one form or another. I am grateful for the people I met and how they shaped me to be the person I am today. Jack and I were talking in the car that a mission is a tool that can truly guide you for the rest of your life. Little did I know how much those 18 months would bless me.

We were convinced this lady was going to get baptized. Darn Catholics.

Jack and I also got engaged a year ago...I am so happy for the decision I made to marry him :) Our life is so fun together, and I am reminded of the months leading up to us getting engaged. I remember my mom playing me and acting like Jack wasn't doing anything to get ready for getting engaged, to the point I wasn't really expecting anything. Annika asking when we wanted to take pictures, and how I was totally oblivious the whole time. My goodness. How thick could I get right? hahaha. I am grateful for Jack :)

We got family pictures back, and it makes me so happy to see our cute family grow! 2 grandkids and one on the way!
