Happy One Year

We hit one year of marriage! I cannot believe how the days have rolled into months and then we are at a freaking year of marriage??? Where has the time gone??? I have absolutely loved the memories we have made and the amazing life Jack and I have started. I was thinking about how I felt about Jack one year ago, when I was marrying him... and I can't believe I felt like I knew him because now I feel like our lives are so intertwined that I literally can't imagine my life without him. And I love that. I always dreamed about feeling that way...and marriage has been awesome. Just a lot of emotions, happy memories, getting mad, having make up sex, then everything in between haha. 

People always talk about an adjustment period. That they had to get used to being around each other and being together all the time...and I honestly feel like I am just living with my best friend. I know that sounds cheesy and lame but it is so. true.

To celebrate our first year of marriage Jack's parents got us a night at the Grand America, so we stayed there for the night. We ate at Blue Lemon and then OF COURSE got Crumbl Cookie. Our favorite right now. Then we went and hung out. I got Jack a Mancala set because we always play it on our phones all the time...so we played that and the Banana Grams game. It was a blast. :) We woke up in the morning and ate at the Coffee Shop at the Little America and went swimming before we checked out later in the afternoon.

Life is good. Our anniversary was a much needed weekend getaway :)
