Relaxing Summer Vibes...NOT

Our weeks after graduation were pretty low key! We golfed a ton and I was outdoors a lot. I feel like this year I have been able to do a lot of trail running and hiking. I have loved being able to do that. We had some fun times because my school hadn’t picked up quite yet and we had a lot more time to hang out and have a lot of free time.

Little did I know how awesome those first couple of weeks were of summer because now life is a total GRIND. May went well and June has looked a little bit differently for between Jack and I. He has never been more relaxed and its quite the opposite for me! One day we will be on the same page and love it! I just keep chanting one more year, one more year, one more year. 

My clinicals have picked up a ton. I do two 12’s a week and then also work two 12’s days a week plus class on top of that. So it’s been BUSSYYYY. I don’t think I’ve ever been this busy in my life. I have been a little sleep deprived and have had a perma-headache because I have switches to doing 12's. I feel like respiratory has definitely kept me studying and working hard, I have seen some awesome stuff so far. I saw my first birth and have just been jumping in with 2 feet first. I love working with babies, and I have been thinking a ton about what I want my future to look like career and education wise. I think something I just need to keep in mind is that I am capable and don’t need to be on anyone’s timeline. It’s hard when kids and family is in the back of my mind all the time to be able plan a masters degree.

I have had clinical sites at Mountain Point in Lehi and Lone Peak Hospital in Draper. I am excited for Intermountain to open and we got our schedule and it looks like I will be going there in July. 

Life is good. Ur girl is getting stretched to max capacity but loving it! :) We just try to fit in family time whenever we can. Drew got his mission call, Will headed back out on his mission, Haley had her baby--I was the first to see him because I was working the day they were there! It has been crazy to see all the changes with Corona over the past few months as well. 

This is a hike we went on with ben and Mikayli, it was a scramble up to the top but BEAUTIFUL! 

Went on a hike up to Cecret Lake with Rhea where we met an extremely interesting couple that talked to us for over 20 minutes. We are instagram friends now don't worry.
