Steaks and "Got to Be Real" kind of birthday
I can't believe March is already here and I am 24 years old! Time has been flying lately. :) I had a great birthday weekend. I got off of a night shift on Friday night and slept the morning of Saturday. In the afternoon we went with our friends to Top Golf. We love hanging out with our cute friends, we always have a good time. when we are with them. We played a bunch of fun games when we were there and I am always happy when I get to hang with them. They gave me a new Hydroflask (another one for me to lose they said) and then some new biker shorts.
After Top Golf we went to the Hale Centre theater to see "The Play that Went Wrong," it was pretty funny. I really enjoyed it. We went with my family and I am so grateful to have them around.
I woke up on Sunday morning and Jack made me some omelets in the morning with his famous hash browns. It was so yummy. I just wanted a lazy afternoon. We went to the Zarbock fam birthday dinner. It was so yummy! We had my choice of dinner and some amazing cinnamon rolls made by Julie. They were amazing. Instead of singing the normal happy birthday song, they sang me "Got to Be Real." And it was hilarious. We have video proof :) I got lots of very nice gifts, my favorite being some new crocs.
The next day I went to a Himalayan salt cave with Jules and it was so nice. :) I felt very refreshed and happy. Jules and I just hung out all day, it was a party. Later that night I went to Ruth's Chris...the most amazing steak I have ever had. My goodness.
What have I learned in my 23rd year of life.... :) I have been thinking about that for a few days actually...and I would say this year I have learned that anything is possible. In regards to school, work, relationships, what I have seen happen to other people...ANYTHING can go right and ANYTHING can go wrong. I am just along for the ride haha. :) I think ultimately God knows what I need in my life and if I just keep chugging along I think he is going to help me. :)
Happy to be here. Lucky to live the life I live.
